What do a nice pair of originals trade for if you are lucky enough to find them?

Thanks Toronto. If I get a hold of the seats, I'm sure this will all make sense. Great thing about the 993 crowd is people are helpful and have been there/done it before.

Anyone familiar with Wicked Motor Works in Los Angeles?
Looks to be about $4k for hardback conversion: https://www.wickedmotorworks.com/par...p?partid=10163 or
https://www.ebay.com/itm/140877628899?ul_noapp=true

For those interested, I texted (WhatsApp) with Waldemar and base price starts at 4900 + 270 shipping to U.S.

^^^FWIW. I’ve had the Waldemar’s in my car for close to ten months. They are obviously not cheap but 100% worth it. I love mine. They are truly exceptional.

I think those were 996 or 997 seats which are easier to find and cheaper than 993 seats.

I don't remember the gloss/raw carbon being an extra charge when I bought the set that I later sold.

Euro is slightly cheaper but options are more expensive?

Other than maybe the stitching pattern, are they significantly different from 993 seats? I’ve seen some posts where folks mount them in 993/964s.

Define significant. Would my wife notice the difference, no. Would most people off the street notice, no.
But to most 993 enthusiasts, yes, they would notice!
They work and look perfectly fine in a 993 and lots of people have done it. There are however subtle but noticeable differences.
Mostly the buttons and lever for moving them, stitching and leather pattern and most significantly, the hardback itself.

i purchased a pair of the hardback seats from Waldemar a few years back and to my knowledge all of the switches and levers are OEM, as are the backs. The leather pattern was perfect. The cashmere leather was a bit soft, but I’m sure you can customize this. Waldemar is located right near the Porsche factory. The craftsmanship is outstanding.
