A much needed wash and a drive. Damn, I love driving this car!

Go rid of that...
Funky stock steering wheel....@ 380mm ir was just to big, with the Momo Model 30, I am down to a reasonable 350mm in diameter, + quick release. Got the adapter, the wheel and the quick release from Rothsport in OR, Jeff Gamroth's place.

The smaller diameter wheel really improves my feel for the car...night and day over the stock wheel.

I initially found a smaller wheel to be quite hard on my wrists and I carried a lot of tension in my shoulders as I couldn't relax, making shifting harder. It took a few months to get used to. Now I wouldn't willingly go back to the stock wheel.

New suspension (KW V3) in, new OEM pads and ground rotors in, Function First transmission mount insert installed. Car has wheels on and is back on the ground!!! Need to adjust wheel gaps, and then take in for alignment and corner balancing.

New dead pedal.
I was tired of having my foot on carpet without support so I fabricated a reinforcement for the stock dead pedal mount using 6063 T5 angle stock. Rivnut threaded fasteners then fastened to the stock mount with stainless pop rivets. Then I bolted a 6061 T6 alloy plate pedal fabrication to the reinforced mount covered with 3M grip tape mounted using stainless flat head machine screws.
Solid as a rock now.

Got new summer tires on - Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
RS engine mounts and Perfect Power Strut Brace installed. Coming from really worn stock mounts. These two together did a lot to make the car feel super solid. The engine mounts have helped shifting a lot.
Windshield rattle is gone from the strut tower brace, although I might have a new dashboard rattle from the little bit of extra vibration in the cabin from the engine mounts. Very happy with the results overall.

I waited till the winter, as I only drive the car in the summer. Then it was too cold in the garage, so I waited for the spring... and, I may be a procrastinator! Have not driven it yet because it as been raining here for the past 4 or 5 days, but I am excited to drive it when we dry out.

Drove mine through the local university area (it's my way home), and stopped at a light waiting for students to cross, and one of them stopped in the middle of the street and pointed at my car and said "THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING TO HAVE SOMEDAY!" I gave him a thumbs up and a little Fister noise on my departure.
