Rear coilovers installed, rear pads & rotors in; everything torqued to spec. Front-end starting to go back together (waiting on new control arm bushings)

Today I finally got around to putting my new LED bulbs into the interior courtesy lights. Now all my lighting is LED, thanks to Tore (Bergville).
I also spent a few minutes removing the wires from pins 8 and 12 in the spoiler control module so that the spoiler now engages only when I manually switch it up or down. I no longer need to hear the retracting spoiler chattering when I come to a stop sign.
Next will be removing and sending the steering wheel for recovering at Carsdream in a week or so.

I retrieved it from the mechanic where it was trapped over the weekend in San Diego, because of a fallen fanbelt sensor wheel, and drove it back to Long Beach.

Brought the car in for an alignment and corner balance at Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley after having ROW 993tt sways and PSS10 installed by Darin @ FD Motorsports. Can't wait to drive this thing!

Shoveled snow out from in front of the doors where she is stored. After weeks, and weeks of spring like weather...we got almost 10" dumped on us over the weekend. Our once clean roads are now completely covered in crap. Advanced forecast looks like garbage well into next week.

Hope for better weather for the trip down to Hershey in a week and a half...

Its been a good while since I was last at RKR. Did they acquire a Kinematic tool for the proper alignment of the 993 rear end? Might wanna ask.
Cheers!

As others have in this string, I installed Tore's LED kit into my center console switch cluster which had two lamps burned out.

Very gratifying project.

I did it a bit different than the instructions in that I drilled two small holes into the circuit board for the resistor installation and put the resistor on the opposite side of the board with its wires coming through the holes to the solder terminal strip side of board.

I ordered 2 LED frunk light fixtures ($17 in eBay) and ran the wiring to install footwell courtesy lights in my center console. I picked up the power and ground at the connector inside the back of the hood on driver's side. I will also pick up a single LED from Radio Shack to illuminate my ignition switch while I'm at it. This will complete my LED conversion.

What did I do with my 993 today??

Drove it !

Typically, not a big deal. But the 300 or so km from Vancouver-ish to Whistler and back early this morning was more than the mileage it accumulated in all of 2015 and the first three months of 2016. It was also the most time I have spent in the Recaro Pole Position since it was installed.
Sunshine, good roads, light traffic, and only a few bugs to splatter made for some enjoyable seat time.
