Just hit 66k. I usually do quite a bit more from April to early Dec in NE, but this summer work travel and life got in the way. I did quite few weekend outings (50 mile drives) with it but none of the longer 500-700m drives that do a couple of times a year. I still have a couple more weeks and maybe I can get a healthy drive in. Still thinking I need to do a cross country trip from Boston to Monterey for car week one of these summers.

Jago, where did you purchase the porsche decal?

I was lazy, picked the car up having the alternator, engine fan, belt sensor replaced. Fan and belt sensor were cracked.

Did my first 993 oil change today. I now understand why the professionals want big money just to change the oil. What a royal PIA. If you haven't done this before, I recommend watching a YouTube video by Heidi and Franny. They do a great job of walking you through the steps and the tools required.

I've changed the oil in dozens of cars in my life. I thought I had it under control but after a roll and a half of paper towels, a ruined shirt, and a 1/2 quart of oil in the hair, I'm glad it's over. I'm sure I'll do better next time

Nice job.

I just burst out laughing when changing the oil on my BMW X3 its so simple.

Just did my second oil change a few weeks ago and you are correct, second time is much easier and quicker.

Default Installed a set of T-lights...

Popped a set of T-lights in it and drove it up the Sea 2 Sky. Fantastic clear fall day, windy, cold and not much traffic. Perfect for an A/C.

Anyone else installed the T-lights in your 993? The clip that holds the actual bulb in is flimsy as heck. I wonder if or when it may fall out. Ideas? Solutions?

Neither does the grille. It's a 993, not a longhood. They're both 911's but the styling is quite different.
