Turbo S style duct question
Hello all. I was wondering who currently makes the best Turbo S style ducts for the 993? I am looking specifically for best fit and finish along with the brightest lamp as well? I was considering the MAShaw ones. Opinions? Thanks.

I just purcahsed a set of genuine S ducts (new from the dealer) and they look like copies or the like. Quality finish is not what I was expecting from a genuine Porsche items but it fits fine. I thought they would be made from some hard plastic type material raher thn what i believe, fiberglass.
Said this, if I would be buying another set of S ducts I would go with aftermarket or copies I guess.

Here's a link to Type911. Shipping isn't cheap, but best prices I've seen. http://type911shop.co.uk/epages/de86...on=ViewProduct
And here's the link to my thread on turbo scoops with links to various sources. Have fun with it. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...installed.html

I just bought these off the Type911 website:
http://type911shop.co.uk/epages/de86.../Products/3521
I'm happy with them and they're made of smooth ABS plastic with two OEM Hella lights with 16x LED bulbs.
Here is the genuine Porsche part also available on the same website: http://type911shop.co.uk/epages/de86.../Products/5282

Thank you everyone for the great info on the various ones available for our cars.
I guess what I am looking for is one that not only looks good but also will allow for me to use HIDs so that they actually light up the road at night

I think your best bet is to go with the position lights for the scoops and Tore's HID lights to replace the halogen headlights. At 3,300 lumens it's all you need. http://www.bergvillfx.com/index.php/...-discount.html
Carnewal does carry a high end tech art design light that reportedly has an HID application, but based on wattage my guess is that it's not much more than 1,000 lumens. Very nice design but not cheap. http://www.carnewal.com/products/P93...ith-Fog-lights
I also spotted this application from TRE Motorsport that appears to have a better lamp with about 1,100 lumens. http://www.tremotorsports.com/product.cfm?Node=11458
