Mike,
That sounds & will be awesome!
Annual migration will be good!
Anir,
At least you explanation sounds very good in HWFMR terms, paying attention to peaople behind you rather than what's ahead should IMO give you some kind of "raise" in turtle status!
Seriously though, it is fine line between being in top of it & losing it.
Oh, and I still (seriously) think you should go with GT-2 route...

Anir,
I'm really sorry to hear (read) about your incident and I am glad that you are okay.
I am very impressed with your composure and attitude towards all this, I should learn from you.
IMHO I think your decision for getting a dedicated track car is better than turning the TT into a GT2
Btw Kim just forwarded these pictures of an RS for sale to me yesterday... sounds like an awesome car, although a 996 Cup car maybe a better choice hehehe

Wow, I must say that I really like the look of that GT2. It has that Ferrari F40 type of look/feel to it (tough yet classy).

Poon,
Thanks for the pic. I saw that car after following the cup car thread on the racing forum. However, it has been modified and would not be legal for gtc-2 in PCA club racing, I believe.
I recently tried to get a factory 968 Turbo RS (#4 of 4 made) , but Jason, a nice gentleman at Paragon, beat me to the punch by about a month. The search continues.
Beauty, aye?

Anir,
Although a change from a 911 a 968CS or even a 944S2 would make a great dedicated track car. I have driven a 944S2 cup car around a UK circuit and it was awesome.

Can anyone tell me what kind or wheel the silver GT2 has? I am referring to the John H. in DC Area posted?
I was thinking of mesh wheels, but for some reason or the other 5 spoke wheels look 'meaner'!!

phatbut - those are a special version of the supercup wheels made with magnesium centers for the GT2.
You can get a similar look with Kinesis RS supercups or the Speedline version if you have the centers painted a gunmetal color. Also they would probabaly be better for the street as the magnesium OEM units will crack over time if you go over things like potholes and road irregularities.

Anir,
You have to drive the car forever, you have too much money in it !! Yeah man, go for the GT2 conversion. It's stunning looks communicates power and authority. Just remember to keep the shiney side up !!

phatbut- Kinesis Is what I have on my car. Seems to be a good sturdy wheel so far (I'm the second owner). Some people prefer the Speedline version as they have a true 18" center while the Kinesis use a 17" center. It is a very slight difference in looks but both achieve the same effect.
Heres a picture of my car. The ones on the GT2 are alot wider so they do have more lip.
