Top notch paintless dent remover (long)
Just would like to give notice and thanks to Kevin Duncil of Precision Automotive Dent Removal for the awesome job he did in undoing a heartbreaking dent on a most difficult area--the bulge of my right rear wheel arch. If anyone needs a dedicated paintless dent remover in Michigan he can be reached at 734-360-1341. He takes great pride in his work and is concerned about your satisfaction--he was more worried about the dent than I was. I also would like to give thanks for Dinh Automotive in Ferndale, MI for allowing us to use his hoist to do the job--it was a difficult angle to get to without. Mr. Dinh was very accomodating and helpful and though he did not even ask for compensation though I was more than happy to do so anyway. No thanks to Bloomfield Eurotech for being more worried about how much money he can make per hoist and our use of one of them--even with compensation did not matter. You just lost business from someone with three and soon to be four 911's.
Sorry for this long post but I believe Kevin and Mr. Dinh deserve recognition for their dedication and kindness in this money hungry world we have lately. They have my business as also my friend's business. As for Bloomfield Eurotech--I won't even bother considering taking any of my cars there I at least got a hint of what their priority is--our wallets.
Thanks for hearing my raves and rant.

Since we are on the subject of paintless dent removal. I have been researching some new methods of paintless dent removal.
I believe there are two systems that I known of out in the market. One uses some special glue chemical, the other uses just standard hot glue. The dents are pulled from outside instead of pushed out from inside.
Not sure if anyone have experiences with this method of paintless dent removal DIY?

I've also had excellent repairs by Dent Wizard over many years - company started here in St. Louis. Just had a basketball sized dent vanish from the rear fender of my wife's A6 for $175. I've sometimes watched the guys at Dent Wizard & they both pull or push, depending on the damage, using a variety of customized tools. Never saw any glue device used.

Maybe one of these is near you: <a href="http://www.dentwizard.com/DWlocations.nsf/lookup?SearchView&Query=USA1CONNECTICUT2&SearchFuzzy=false&SearchOrder=4 &SearchMax=0&SearchWV=TRUE#_RefreshKW_selectState" target="_blank">Dent Wizard Locations in CN</a>

No affiliation with Kevin, just amazed with his work as I've had work done by others in the area but those in SE Michigan might want to know that he does the paintless dent work for both Porsche dealerships in the area.

A few years back I remember a Porsche promotional tape on the 993's. The video took you through the factory at Zuffenhausen and stopped along the way to point out interesting things. The item I remember most was an ederly (at least he seemed elderly to me at the time I first saw the video) gent who used what looked like a plastic stick (shaped somewhat like a carpenter's pencil) and a small hammer. He would rub down the painted body with white gloved hands to feel and look for small dents and dings that occur while moving the cars thru the plant. A bit of careful tapping around the ding would cold work the metal and pop out the ding. He was an artist! He was the only person in the plant that performed this artistry. When asked by the tour guide how long he had been doing this job, he replied "over 30 years". Now there was the pinnacle of "paintless dent removal".
