Default 1998 Porsche 993 Turbo

Is there somewhere I can go to find the average prices for 993 turbos? Trying to get a gauge on how much I should be spending for a 1998 993 Turbo with 50K miles.

Thanks-

There aren't any 1998 turbos in the USA unless it's a turbo s. What really are you asking about?

There were no US or Canadian spec 993 Turbos of ANY description period for the 1998 model year.

Turbo S was 1997 model year in North America only.

Had to elaborate on my post! I didn't have the "1998" part originally.

The 98' coupe total probably includes both C2S and C4S. Plenty of 98' MY C4S owners on here to confirm that they were indeed produced.

There were 299 C4S's brought to the US in '98.

The market for 993 turbo's is hard to estimate right now because the prices are all over the place. From what I have been observing (internet and auction results) I would say low 100's to 130 depending on condition and history. Obviously a car with detailed service and ownership history is going to get a lot more money than one passed around by dealers with no history. That doesn't mean the car traded around by dealers isn't a great car.

Exactly. The chart shows "993 coupe" which for model year 1998 in North America was wide body only.

Thanks! yes, i was mistaken it is a 1997 and not 1998 - i'm new to the porsche community. I did find a 1997 turbo coupe with 50k miles going for $80k from a family friend which does seem like a good deal i'd like to jump in but just wanted to check in with others to see if that is reasonable.

not sure if i read it here or not, but i remember reading most 1998 carrera models (of what was produced) were the balance of parts porsche had left over from 1997, which explains why productions numbers are so low. well, at least the public version. lol

can someone confirm or deny?
