Question ---- did the previous owner dye half of the front door panels black? Why I ask --- normally when I see upper and lower dash in classic grey, as well as the steering wheel in grey and the rear side panels in grey, I expect to see the front door panels entirely in grey.
(yes, my car is nearly entirely classic grey on the inside)
I haven't figured out how to curt and paste prior questions - sorry. Also in response to Jlaa's query on the two-tone door, I am told by my local 993 expert that the center strip that is "stippled" is always that color. A black interior will more or less match the stippled leather, but if you have a grey interior it contrasts to the stippled black portions. Hope this helps clarify!

Larz Anderson museum. 15 newton st, Brookline. A few of my friends are the guys have organized c&c here for couple year snow. Always a great turnout. Nothing's scheduled for September as their usual show " cars and copters" was cancelled because the airport it was held at couldnt handle the volume of cars. But the Brookline get together is always a great time. Congrats on the 993. I'll have try and spot you on the roads some time.

My state requires a front plate, so I've studied Mike J's. Instead of cutting edges, I folded, then covered with clearbra. [Caveat: possible that bottom should ideally be >12 inches above ground, & face shouldn't be angled. ...Add that to your endless mod list.]
Regarding air flow, no negative aspect, IMHO. IIRC, neither oil cooler nor A/C compressor are impacted in the center.
