Default What tire size do I run?

Does anyone have information on what tire size I should run for my 993? I just picked up some 997 Carrera IIIs (Five Spoke) and in the process of ordering tires, but not sure what size to run. I lowered the car to RS height (Bilstein HDs) and afraid I am going to rub if I order the wrong tires.

Here are the specs.

front
8x18 57 offset
#99736213600

rear
10x18 - 58 offset
#99736214001

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I'd run 225/40-18 and 265/35-18... maybe 275/35-18 with that high an offset.

If I were to run a 275 in the rear, would there be a high chance of rubbing?

Since the 993 narrow body factory offset for 10x18 is 65ET, You might have issues even with the skinner 265.

Stock size for NB 18" 993 is 225/40 front and 265/35 rear. 285/30 will usually work well too but will be tight on a Euro height car with the offsets of the Carrera III wheels. There is slight variance car to car not to mention variance tire to tire (manufacturer and model). Finally, a 275/35-18 rear will ever so slightly alter your effective gearing (taller).

Keep in mind that different makes and models of tires will have slightly different widths and heights, I.e. Some are more square than others.

I run 225/40 fronts and 285/30 rears, on MY02s. Tires are Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs., car is a 96 C2.

There are also small variances between cars and suspension specs will contribute to what rubs or what doesn't. Use all advice as guidance, your individual car may vary.

I ordered a set of 235/40/18 for the fronts and 265/35/18 for the rears. My car is set pretty low, so hopefully I do not have any issues with rubbing. Thank you for the reply.
