I understood it to mean. If the spoiler is faulty and hasn't risen, the light will come on. Hence insufficient cooling.
I do agree the wording is confusing.

Same here, I'd much sooner be in a 767 than anything Airbus.

Or as my commercial pilot student who now flies for Air Canada put it when he used to be on an Airbus....cockpit lingo would often be "what now".

He has been on a 767 for a while now and much happier.

That it is. What someone needs to do is incorporate a simple Picaxe microprocessor chip into a spoiler circuit and make it user programmable via Bluetooth. Both speed and time need to be parameters.

Easiest MOD availale. Did it last summer- was SO tired of hearing the spoiler motor going at every stop light. All I could hear was $$$$ to fix it when it goes out. I raise it now and again just to make sure it works, but I like the "tail-down" look best!

I used Bowmans mod, but added a double pole/single throw switch to the two wires.I just now turn the spoiler off around the city and turn it on when needed. But unlike using it manually it operates as per normal when on.

I have the RUF module, and am happy with it, but obviously I could have done this DIY.
