thought i would start a new thread for pictures and comments.
a beautiful day for a drive!! And Fred, Lee and Brooke even planned that we would all be travelling 0 miles per hour when the CHP officer arrived!!
It was great to meet a lot of the fellows for the first time.

Thanks Temple, Fbfisher and Lee, and everyone else I met this morning. What a great drive and great people. Can't wait for the next run! Here are some sporadic pictures from the day.

That was a great time. Fred (in blue cab) set a fast pace. CHP put us all under arrest, but when he couldn't fit us all in his car he decided to let us go. (Just joking - luckily he found us when we were parked at the overlook, and not when we were moving.) At Steve's request, took several photos of his new Kinesis wheels and euro front bumper. Steve has the Arena Red Turbo. Other frequent subject is my midnight blue turbo. Early start time of 7:00 was a good idea as roads were clear. We should do this more often. Thanks to Brook (Temple) for organizing.Photos Malibu Run

And in the true spirit of HEY WAIT FOR ME....
I arrived at Vons 7:15 and missed the train.
My GF and I drove up the coast solo,= into farm land then decided to turn around.
We decided to hit the canyon's on the way home. Low and behold, we stopped at a scenic lookout to stretch our legs. Within 5 minutes we saw the train coming through and decided to hop on.
We missed most of it but still had a great time.
Did I mention we were there just long enough to take a few bad pics..
lol !!
cya next time.
HEY, WAIT FOR US......

Lee, I posted a few pics of the spoiler "script" a week or two ago, along with a couple of other little mods. Here's a pic if anyone else is interested:

Temple,
Thank you for organizing this fun run. It was about as good as it gets. I think I might have converted my neighbor to a Rennlister (Blue 964 Turbo).
Fred,
Terrific job leading the pack. I really appreciated you calling out the SUV's and cyclists (I am sure the cyclists did as well).
Can we do this every Sunday? Great way to start the day?

Ah, digital pics . . . . instant gratification. It was fun trailing the pack and watching the digital cameras periodically pop up through sunroofs. And I was laughing out loud when Max's spoiler came up in front of me with its message
Fred, great job leading the pack. I'm still amazed we never hit any traffic on the twisties.
It was great meeting y'all. See you at the next one...
