PCA has sent a few emails out on this. I'm at the point of the year where I decide to go to Monterey, and end up spending $300/night to stay at places like Goodnite Inn in Salinas.

I missed last year, so I am in this year for sure.

Getting a place to stay is tough in town. I am lucky that I have a family couch to stay on!

I did two of the Pelican Hahn Winery tours in a row. It's a really fun drive through Carmel Canyon, if any of you are not going to Werks or to Laguna Seca Friday morning I would highly recommend the Hahn Winery trip.

Did the first PP Hahn tour. Roads not to bad. Gotta be on the lookout for a couple cattle crossings that'll loosen some fillings. Hope to see ya guys there.

I did as well. That reminded me of an "old California wagon train" tour. It was fun, and the winery was beautiful.

I'm going to get to Salinas Thurs evening, and get to the event early Friday. We should try and set up a meet (I know it's tough) at Baja Cantina, or similar Friday afterward @ 4ish. I may go to Laguna Seca Saturday AM and head home early that afternoon. Gotta head to Louisiana that Monday morning.

The Hahn Winery drive is going to be on Thu this year. Plan accordingly and hope to see you all there. Same start location and time.

Thursday (8/14):

Dan's Drive:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ml#post8138352

This is the 5th year of the Drive (49ers are the owners of "The Drive") and counts have gone from 9 to about 33 last year, steadily increasing each year.

Hahn Winery:

Directly from here to the Baja Cantina Hot Rod Show: FREE. BBQ Dinner there is sub $15. Quite good for the $'s, includes a drink. Last year we saw Patrick Dempsey enjoying a beer with Michael Schumacher at one of the tables on the patio!

Quote: I'll be there, but not displaying. Too many other things to see that day, including Legends.
We'll see how this shakes out, but Legends is shown as an Audi event on Motorsport Reg.

I registered awhile back. Even clicked on volunteering. Will be a day trip--can probably sleep in and still be waiting for the gate to open.

The Legends of the Autobahn Concours Moves to the Nicklaus Club-Monterey. The Werks Reunion is not in conjunction with the Legends event...they are now two different events. I don't think PCA is participating in the Legends event this year .....Oh, Yes, I will attend the Werks Reunion.....I am registered for the coral.
