After looking at all the aftermarket roll bar cages out there I decided to make my own. I hooked up with Unique Fabrication in Irvine California to custom make me a roll bar to my liking. Jordan just sent me pictures of the cage finished before it heads out to powercoat. Looks so amazing. The welds are so clean.

To each his own. Good luck with it and keep us posted. I'd do a bright green color and definitely keep the sunroof. Scratch that,......as a convertible freak I'd do a cab,...maybe green and I'd just attach a basic ducktail. I'm not a fan of the huge rear spoilers on these 993 wide cars.

Its your thing,...have fun and keep the pics coming.

Oh,.............also I'd love to see a pair of triple H cups bolted onto Kate Upton.

Superb welds on that cage. Almost too nice to cover up.

Unfortunately they did not make a jig. That cage was custom built in my car.

I always find this piece very inspiring and liberating, Bob Sirna is a great guy, listen to him, enjoy your toys and drive them in good health buddy!

Good luck!

+1

I think they look better than the 993 version. The more upright headlamps and the fact that they have wide fenders without the bolt on flares is what makes them look better.

Have to agree 993%!

Just a nice light sand and some quality paint = a whole lot of win!

OP - I can only base my judgement of the RWB 993's from the screen of my computer. While I don't believe Nakai's creations to be 'my thing', I can guarantee you that I'd walk past a fleet of stock 993's to have a look at one given the chance.

Best of luck to you and I'll look forward to following your progress.

Sorry to hear this.... This car photographed very well, though the build process did seem a little suspect.

Best of luck in getting the car to your standards!

I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of the Tax the Rich guys. Although, they're more into hooning their "investment" cars.

Fantastic welds.....

I would sand the entire bar so the metal is all uniform and semi shiny, (With 800 or 1200 grit paper), and then clear coat the bar only... I think this would look fantastic in the back of a RWB. and the beauty of the welds would show through ....
