Arrogance may be too strong a word but smug, self-righteous and condescending are words I mutter to myself more often than not when I read some of the posts here. As a result, I tend to spend less time on this forum. Hobbies are supposed to be fun after all.

A 993 is not a rare car. Furthermore, a NB '95 993 is a nice car but it's really nothing special. To imply that using a 993 as a donor car for a tuner project is sacrilegious because YOU don't like the end product is a bit rich.

Rennlist is an enthusiasts site. Enthusiasts like to do things to their cars. Some do more than others. Let the guy be and support him in a project that he's obviously excited about. Sheesh!
Well said!

thanks guys for all the support.

Here are some more detailed pictures of the exhaust build out. Unfortunately we did not build a jig so I won't be able to replicate these parts to those who have asked through PMs.

Unique Fabrication in Irvine builds alot of roll bars/cages and performance exhaust for a few big name Porsche Tuners.

Their workmanship, quality, and engineering are just absolutely amazing. Every time I turn on the car I just can't help but smile.

The cats were integrated into the muffler to save space and weight

A custom X-pipe was built

Rear Bumper removed and more custom fitting underneath the car

Exhaust is welded and ready to be fully installed

So far you've teased us with, IMO, really impressive quality work. That x-pipe in the exhaust, wow! The attention to detail is awesome.

You've set the bar high and I'm eager to watch this progress.

I wrote before that I also am not the biggest RWB fan - I hope you didn't take this the wrong way. I am putting my cosmetic opinions aside here. The work here is quite impressive.

I might reiterate though, that while you have the car apart to inspect the rear frame rails, and front and rear windshield frames for rust. IMO, definitely not something you want to gloss over when this seems to be an issue on the 993 shell.

Otherwise, lookin mighty good!

Is fitting included in the RWB kit ?

What about his travelling from Japan to USA or Europe do you need to arrange this

This is looking really good so far. I also hope you'll decide to remove the rear seats. The RS carpet kit would look great.

Exhaust looks good sir, about like mine turned out. Are those burns mufflers? I originally had my mufflers where yours are located but I moved them to the fender well sides.

Sound clip +1

Nice exhaust, great welds.

Looke in principle very much like my partially homemade system except that I have equal length headers also (see pics below).

What size tubing did you use? Mine's fairly small (looks like yours) and I can tell the scream in WOT in fantastic. The equal legth headers of course plays part in that, especially making the sound more "exotic" rather than the "rumble" but I suspect you will have a farily high pitch also.

2.5" tube from the headers into the mufflers. Then 2" to the tips.

keep building a car that you like it but always with high level personal and materials becaus that could end well or end baddly for little things on projects that big.

I will follow it, RWB is a cool tuner, I know the owner of RWB canada and a owner of a rwb 964 in japan.

Very similar then. I have 2" header tubes, then 2.5" from headers to race cats (mine are cats, no mufflers) and then also 2.5" from cats to the ends. (no tips, just exhaust tubes)
