That is damn fine fabrication!

I'm not sure if it would provide enough corrosion protection, but it might be interesting to just put some clear coat on it. Maybe ask the guy who built the bar.

Nice stuff!

I'd clear coat it. It's too beautiful paint.

Uh yeah, cuz in an "oops" moment, a roll bar without padding (and I don't mean the cheap *** foam) in a street car will be really, really kind to your head.

Yes. You need to choose the correct padding for your application.

But would you pad the whole thing? I don't know.

Also, FWIW, the top bar looks ever so slightly asymmetrical.

But it looks great.

Take care,

Factory RSCS cage didn't have any padding...
Bar is a hard thing to hit your head but the jamb around a door with thin vinyl isn't much softer.

Looks like a great donor car sir. I own RWB Catalina out of Texas. Welcome to the RWB family. Glad to see you're excited about your build. Enjoy every bit of it because it is an amazing experience.

What final color did you decide on going with?

When is Nakaii scheduled to come over and start?

I noticed you purchased the KW v3 coilovers for your car. Just a heads up, since kw height isnt very adjustable you may not be able to go low enough. Make sure the spring setup you went with is the lowest possible. You can always go up but can only go down so much. I ran into this problem with mine using the Bilstien H n R set up. Ended up ordering Aragosta..

I never posted my build on rennlist, good luck with the haters on here haha. Either way, never gets old seeing his work.

I ended up choosing Riviera Blue. The BASF Paint should be ready in about a week.

Nice to see another RWB owner on this forum.

Nakai is tentatively scheduled to come to Los Angeles in April the finish up the car. Thanks for the heads up on the KW coilovers.
