This thread is equivalent to:

1. What's your favorite color?
2. Boxers or briefs?
3. Favorite vacation spot?
4. Tastes great or less filling?

What. Is. The. Point.

I agree. Ridiculously stupid question in the 993 Forum to begin with.

Is the design aging well? Puh-leeze.

I think the 964 is having a resurgence in popularity because of Singer using the 964 body as a starting point. Also, look at the astronomical prices the 964RS is now getting in Europe (I think the 993RS has always been highly sought after).

So on a relative basis I would say the 964 is having a bit of a renaissance but that in no way diminishes the appeal of the 993.

Sensitive bunch.
The 993 is looking a bit long in the tooth.
Nice ***, no doubt.
There. I said it.

We need to remember that tcabler is a minor league troll who couldn't afford a 993. I love 964s (and would love to own one), but his Porsche pablum is a sign of greater insecurities more than we can ever possibly hope to solve on this board.

Surprised no one mentioned the interior.

For me, I hate the pre 964 manual shifters. Long as in my truck. Post 964 has that compact shifter design.

Just one additional input here......

Probably upset that 993 pricing continues to get further from his reach, hence the recent thread. He should be happy that even though he had to settle for a 964 instead a few years back, they too are starting to climb in value nicely.

I've always liked Mary-Ann. That said I think the 993s get more looks now than ever.

It certainly is a contemporary design and if you have HID and body color bumperettes the car looks as if it could be a current model.

I think my 993TT is better looking and sexier than my buddy's 996TT
Post your favorite pic along with your comments. See attached. The air-cooled 993 technology puts it into a collector's category as well. Read about the advances in the rear suspension. Drive one, like you stole it...., if someone who owns one will let you. Then stand on a "corner" kneel down, and look along it's lines...

+993. If I were a mod, I would be a very heavy handed one. Trolls would get one warning. A second violation would be an insta-ban. OP is a clear troll. Unfortunate that we've fed him so well!
