I like the orange above, but how about rocking some blood orange?

With regards to the colour...I think my best bet is to paint it white, as per the original factory cars.
The livery is easy to change every season if need be.

I really like the Flying Lizard RSR livery, btw:

Juha I really like this build!! Interested in hearing if youve read about the Roock cars, they were said to have an additional 7cm front width compared to the factory gt2evos but I have managed to find out how they achieved this so figured maybe you knew since your doin a very thourogh build?
Cheers P

the video of jurg aeberhard in his 993 is awesome, he is so fast in that car, but the car is a beast it self.
I tried to find some information about that car, i only found it has probably around 750hp and a really good driver. I hope your car will be as fast as that, we tried but didn't make it a few comparisons:
Nurburgring: 2:00 vs 2:07
Hockenheim: 1:42 vs 1:50

but about your car, i thought you where going for a martini livery ?
I know in the end, what you choose will look very good

If you are finished where are you going to drive this beast,
Germany ? STT, DMV-TCC, VLN ? maybe we can drive together

Yep, I know those cars...I saw one up in person in the Porsche museum in April. Sufficient to say I was all over it...

What are you comparing above?

I will be racing the car in Europe for sure...not sure yet which series. Would be nice to race together! Are you racing in some series at the moment? What car?
I race with a BMW in the national Endurance saloon series (we are actually #3/48 in the series at the moment).
I plan on doing some VLN races next season but most likely not with the 993...too early for that.

I think the Roocks are amazing buy I wonder if they achieved the extra 7cm by rebuilding the front suspension and moving control arms etc. outerwards or if the just made wider fenders and rebuilt the wheels to have different offsets?

I don't know and I agree, it would be nice to find out. The front wheels have quite wide outer lips so definitely the offsets are different, but 7cm is a lot!!
But is it 7cm compared to a street car or 7cm addition to a race car?
The factory EVOs (same as all other 993 race versions) had 30mm wider track per side (as you propably know). That is achieved by pushing out the suspension to the outer position. Going wider than that would require one-off suspension parts and modifications to the tub.
I tried to look under the Roock car in the museum but it's just too low to really see anything.

See here, the front wheel has easily +25mm on my current BBS racing wheels with the EVO flares and pushed out suspension:

Well, then again my Kinesis wheels do have quite wide lips. So can't really determine offset by just looking at the wheels...

Ill try and dig up where I read about it but from my recollection it was an additional 7cm compared to the factory race 993gt2evo so I was wondering if the rebuilt the tub.

Look here seems they got factory gt2evo and then increased track by 7cm

http://www.r32oc.com/topic/4131-for-sale-1998-porsche-911-993-gt2-r-evo-38-roock-ex-le-mans/

But the $10kUSD question...HOW?
