Greetings,

I'm fitting an OEM turbo bumper cover with OEM fender seals on each side. Following NineMeister's very helpful post, I'm finding the seals do not sit properly on the fender flange. Please refer to the first and second photo in Post #2 above.

When the tail of the seal is aligned with the edge of flange, the round part of the seal rides up on the "rib" of the bumper cover.

I'd much appreciate getting confirmation of how to position the seal on the flange. Please see the attached pdf and let me know if detail A or detail B is correct.

Thanks!

Not sure I'm understanding 100%, but I would say it doesn't need to align with the inner edge. The seal needs to align with the outer edge of the bumper. So, diagram B looks more correct.
Most important thing is how it seals and looks when the bumper is on. Test fit it and mark where it needs to be glued. Its been a while since I did this job but that's how I remember tackling it.

You may want to consider this approach to getting the seal to sit right that mirrors the original factory method.
