Default "Dueling 993's in Miami

Downtown Miami at 5:30 today pulled alongside a NB Black 993 with RS spoiler, cage and exhaust that completely drowned out my Stage III's. Ride height was slammed and the Florida license plate was "TARPS." Wheels were black too. He was behind Ferrari and I was stuck behind a SUV. I didn't have a chance to keep up. Ironically 30 minutes before my "old" silver C2S was parked behind a white/burgundy 991 cab. Some touristas in white shorts and dayglo orange t-shirts took turns posing by the cab taking pictures. It was funny to watch. If they only "knew."

Just goes to show:
You can't beat seat time.

Used to live on Ocean and 7th, Miami Beach so the visuals are strong. Loved the causeway.

Sounds like you found the only two 993's in Miami. This place is full of 991's now...

I saw a white lowered 993 coupe a couple of times parked near Lincoln Road. There were some stickers on it, I vaguely recall either Marines or Navy.

Mike,
I've seen that one too, It's a daily driven '95 and it comes with the extra bonus that the driver is a blonde lady.....

Hah, I believe I saw that one yesterday at lunch, parked at a garage next to Lincoln Road. Can't remember sure but I think it had a special plate.
If it's the same, it has the low RSR wing, not RS and inside that wing, there was an intercooler so it has a turbo engine.

Missed the blonde though!

Oh, and there certainly are more than 2 993s in Miami although not very many.
(mine's one although not in mainland Miami)

Yes, it had a RSR wing; my mistake. And it took off like a bat out of hell; that would explain the turbo.
