OT: Need your VW/Audi 2.0T Alternator Help
If you have VW/Audi with a 2.0T, please have a look under the hood at the alternator. There is a plug-in connector with two wires. Please tell me the relative positions of the blue and blue/white wires. While taking my alternator out, I busted the harness connector, and need to know the correct position of the wires before installing the new connector.

Andreas, much appreciated! I have the 2.0T FSI engine, from '06, but hopefully the alternator wiring will be the same. If the end of the wiring loom shows the same colours as I have (Blue, Blue/White), I'll cross my fingers and go for it.

Paul,
Our 2009 2.0 TFSI A4 does not match what you described. The only visible wire exiting the rear of the alternator is a small rose colored one. There are no plug in connectors visible on the alternator and, presumably to get a clean looking engine bay, all the wiring is covered by plastic tubing.
