Hi Rich,

I am north of you, just north of Coit and Legacy. I think I might have seen your 951.

When I first drove into Plano with my 993, a black 951 went past me and waved (you?), then when I pulled into the Dickey's on Preston a Speed Yellow 930 pulled into the lot behind me, circled and waved and then went on his way. All within 5 minutes.

My wife, who always wondered why I wanted a Porsche 911, was impressed. She said this never happened to her when she bought a new Ford!

pretty amazing to see a 951 and SY 930 within 5 minutes when you're already in a 993. there's something special about keeping these 'older' porsches on the road. it blows my mind to think that my 951 is NEARLY 30 years old!! that 930 was probably similar in age.

no waves for Ford owners, huh?? time for the wife to buy a Porsche.

20 cars already. i'm impressed!! should we get excellence or panorama to cover this?? :roflmao:

If any of you guys have a ROW 033 suspension or any other combination with a comfortable ride I would love to get a short ride with you. I would be happy to let you feel what my JIC coil overs and TRG sway bars feels like. Without knowing what the baseline 993 ride feels like I hesitate to change my current setup.

Thanks,
rick

That is my other dream car outside of the 993. I just can't seem to find one w/ <150k miles, w/o cracked dashed and/or worn driver booster etc And sellers are still asking >$15k...

yes, many years ago. that M5 was my first M car and led to an E30 M3 (loved that car), an E36 M3 and an E36 LTW. I was heavily involved in the BMW CCA in MD and spent 2 years as the President of the National Capitol Chapter there. NCC is the 2nd largest chapter behind Golden Gate. had many E30s and '02s as well and even raced an E30 325is in SCCA and BMW. it's hard to find a really nice E28 M5 now and then the prices are at a premium. i knew several owners years ago, but i doubt many of them own those cars any longer. my M5 was sold to a friend and then it was sold to a mutual friend of both of ours. actually, all my M cars were sold to friends. keep looking - you'll find one. that S38 motor is a great mill.

Maybe there could be raffle tickets for $25/$50 dollars and the winner gets some Fister III's

Hi Bill, I'm glad you are attending this event, maybe we can convoy together , also it will be nice if you can bring one of you Pcar mount packages and throw in the raffle :icon501:
Guys Bill is the owner and founder of one of the greatest GPS mounts for our 993's

well, if everyone throws in $25, we'd have $525 at the moment - enough to cover a set of Fisters. if there is interest, i can work up some special dual tickets (previous life as a graphic designer/artist) we can use and have a drawing at the event. if someone already has their Fisters, they can put it towards another upgrade. interest?

If you decide to do it I am up for a ticket or two.

Except, right before you distribute them, can I get the one you were about to give to 13BEEZ? And I'm not playing poker with that guy either! :D
