Colin,

Nice build per usual. Why Toyo 888s? IMHO awful tire.

OK, OK, I hear ya!

Had no time to spare today but managed to take a few photos after the lads loaded up the shop before going home. I'll do my best to take some better ones outside tomorrow.

Lol. I should have mentioned that the owner is intending to finish off the wiring, fit a few extra control switches and fit his cooling fans, hence the stickers, wires and temporary steering wheel for the MOT test.

I LOVE IT! Thanks for posting up the additional finished pictures, Colin. The car turned out great. Is that a "Clifford" alarm sticker on the drivers glass?

I dropped the car off with the owner last Thursday and he promised to post more photos once he has the time to finish the work on the car - when he's not doing his day job with a Le Man's winning Sports Car race team....

Just read through the whole thread, car looks awesome!

Did you weigh the car before/after? I'm curious how much weight was shed in this conversion...

Also, it's a small point but I feel like if it were me I would have had the engine fan painted to match the green exterior. You know, as long as you're spraying anyway...

There were lots of things that we would have "liked" to do, hence the thread title. Mission Creep: it's an affliction.

Unfortunately one of the most difficult tasks for a bunch of enthusiasts running a business looking after the cars belonging to enthusiasts is learning how to keep the scope of work within the depth of the customer's pocket. In this case all the Ninemeister crew over-delivered big time and could have poured another hundred hours in unpaid just because we enjoy the work - but that line had to be drawn somewhere and this is where it was left.
