Very cool seeing women driving 911s... Especially the air cooled variety. Can we open this to ladies that drive sports cars and own Porsches?
If so here's my contribution....
The wife (separated but still get along incredibly well- shes a great woman... in case she reads this...and a great mother to my three wonderful kids haha) is not allowed to touch the 993 as its stick shift and she just has no idea about that... But she has on occasion used my Lambo...
Mind you she can handle speed... Her daily is a Cayenne Turbo S running well over 580bhp...

When finally riding shotgun in the 993 at the Tail of the Dragon, I asked my wife if these sort of weekends would be fun if she brought her own car. She replied "Yes! It looks really fun to drive!"
I took the hint and promptly pulled over and to her shock replied "Good. Your turn!". She was amazed. "Really?" "Yeah." I replied. ten minutes into my new seat as passenger, I promptly got carsick.

My wife and I have gone on countless road trips in the Porsche with some covering a great deal of miles. My wife has yet to drive on any of them. Not that I would care, she's a great driver. She just refuses to drive the 993.

My wife has driven both my previous 84 911 and the 993. She used to take the 84 out every so often but has never taken the 993 out. She says it makes her nervous but she likes the ride a lot more than the 84. She too has an Audi and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I wish I had a picture of my mom driving my 993 to her retired school-teacher luncheons. She was driving it occasionally when I had it stashed at my father's industrial building. I encouraged it because I didn't like it sitting for so long.
She's always loved convertibles and finally got herself an SLK. Go mom.
