I think it's great. I vote for keeping the paint as-is. The exhaust looks a bit strange, though. Does it fit under the bumper cover or are you leaving it off? I have been looking for a top-notch trim shop in the SE and will keep Love's shop on my radar for when I need some work done, thanks for posting.

Yeah he does great work. I'm doing the seats to match with centers diamond stitch, center console and i'm thinking of doing the gauge panel and visors in little diamonds. i don't have visors but i think they could easily be made if you were going to cover them.

I love the exhaust with the bumper on. Kinda took it from the E39 M5 and gives the rear a different look than most.

Hey, what kind of transaxle are you using? What challenges did you have mounting the engine? Do you have any pictures of the engine and trans from below? Any pictures of the radiator and coolant lines? This is a cool project!

I'm surprised, but I like the camo on this! The interior is awesome. If I scroll post #37 up and down the screen it makes me dizzy. Seriously.

Its running hot. i ran the heater core bung off the head back to the inlet pipe which basically is adding the hottest water to what should be the coolest. temps going back into block were in the 210/220 range, way to hot. Im going to block that off and see what happens. Also not boosting. no leaks but i didn't gap the plugs tight enough for boost and that's exactly how it feels when boost should come on. doing that tonight

out on the town

Think of it as a throwback to the very first Porsches. With the engines made from stuff left over from the VW parts bin.
Aren't all P-cars actually VWs now?
