Don't red wheels defeat the whole purpose of camo?

haha i actually thought of orange for the wheels and mirrors but like the picture, it crosses the line from military to hunter. plus the red wheels will go with the original paint scheme that it'll get next winter
hopefully i can find metal fenders at hershey.

Well this is a very interesting engine swap. I don't know if I would select the V6 VW engine. Is it the small angle V6? So the engine with the single bank and high center of mass.
The Alfa/Lancia Busso V6 has a 60 degree angle between the banks, The Renault PSA engine a 90 degree angle. These engine have a lower center weight and do sound smoother.
The original design with the 6 boxer in the back has two major characteristic:
-1. The flat 6 has a very low center weight (which is good)
-2. The flat six is installed behind the rear wheels (which is good for traction and bad for cornering stability)
So what I asked myself is (if you are so deep in pluming and welding the car) why not better the car Ruff Style?
Turn around the engine in front of the gearbox in stead of behind (Cayman/Boxster)?
You might have worsen the road handling by installing a heavier engine higher up the back of the car.
I love the color scheme, but hope you won't put any **** stickers on the car.

neither of those motor are available readily in the us which defeats a major advantage. also when looking at it, my block is below the frame rails with just 1 aluminum head above it. take the stuff i've deleted like a/c, most of the exhaust, the oil tank and everything on the firewalls id say i bet this weighs less above the rails than a 993 and lighter overall. we'll find that out when i weigh it. in the end i am not going to cut out the car for a mid engine set up.
