Taken from ad around 145th picture. People who found fame when they weren't looking for it are my favorite. This guy is one of those.

Other than getting it running, he's not done anything to it. Please tell me that just his name on the title doesn't add a big bump. Nothing against the guy, but gee whiz...

He will add value to the transaction in that I bet he can explain/cover all the issues with the car very well. It's funny that his name is bringing cache to car's he has owned - even for a few months. I do not know the 1965 market very well so its going to be hard for me to tell if this car will get a premium due to Magnus's involvement.

Check out his long forum thread on Pelican, 132 pages and counting...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...rol-hobby.html
I read some comments recently that he was was starting to become interested in 944′s and 928′s as they are undervalued. I have no confirmation of that, but his take would be interesting...
As for this car, its really irreverent if he is flipping this 65 - the market should set the value of the car. If someone thinks that having Magnus' own it briefly adds to the value, then the money will indicate that.

Mike

He mentioned in an interview recently that he viewed 928's, 944's and early Turbos as bargains right now. I don't know of he collects them, simply a mention.

He's quite a hoot and very approachable...Friendly as a wet dog! As for this particular car, it's already beyond what it would be worth (to me, that is) but for some, a total restoration would be in order and that should easily take $50K more.

The rust should scare potential buyers.

Canadian filmmaker Tamir Moscovici discovered Walker through an ongoing thread on the Pelican parts Web site about his ever-changing projects and updating vehicles.
“He saw my thread and contacted me about doing a documentary. I had seen his films about Honda IndyCar and a gritty piece about tattoos and knew he was a kindred spirit,” Walker said.
“So, on a leap of faith, a handshake and a shoestring budget, Tamir flew down to Los Angeles to start filming.”
Moscovici gathered more than 40 hours of footage over the course of four days that was to be pared to a five-minute mini-documentary, a passion project for him. It would turn into a 30-minute feature documentary.
