I bought a Heigo cage last year and it fit fine. I ended up selling it as I decided to re-build the whole chassis with proper racing cage.

Thanks for the pics Juha, do you have any close up where the hoop and front legs mount to the body?

Resurrecting this...any movement on this front? I have the DAS but it is PITA for in and out 4-5x per year. Heigo seems easier but the flats and bends in the metal make me nervous. Heigo for RS seems great, but not for a sunroof car (and I'm keeping my sunroof).

Thoughts?

Semi OT but funny nevertheless... The Heigo cage is back...as I bought the 993 from my friend, in which the cage is installed.

True, the RS version requires rear seat removal.

It is possible to fit a non sunroof bar into a sunroof coupe... Not for the faint of heart though

I probably already commented on this years ago on a previous page, but why not inquire with one of the local professional fabricators in your area? (I know who I'd go to locally.) Even if it cost double, since you have (today) the near-zero use case, seems coming up with a safe, time saving solution will pay off in the long run.

That one has the weld in or bolt in bases...it isn't the more complete RS type kit.
Thx.
