Default Where to buy m029 springs?

I am going with the FSD's and want to retain a stock ride comfort with just a touch of lowering on my 96 C2 NB, so I am skipping the m030 and m033 (too low for what I want to achieve). Maybe this is posted somewhere, but what is the best source for M029 springs? Some of the vendors I've called have never even heard of M029s.

Thanks in advance.

As long as Porsche still stocks them in the system you can try either Sunset Porsche or FD Motorsports...both always have great service and prices.

I have been researching spring sets myself. I have not ran across a M029, here is what is listed in the current PET.

They are special order/non-returnable from Pelican.

These are just the standard ROW springs aren't they? I'm sure somebody around here has some laying around that they have removed.

They are standard ROW springs, and I would assume if they are not in the US inventory (meaning they have to come from Germany) then most places would not accept a return.

That is my point-I believe that ROW is ROW: a height. I'd say that M029 is not ROW then, it is another (intermediate) height. If M029 is a Porsche part, it may have been for a specific market.

"1- M032 - USA/Canada ride height (this includes USA M030 Sport option)
2- M029 - Standard ROW ride height - 20 mm lower front/10 mm lower rear
3- M033 - Lowered ROW ride height - 30 mm lower all-around

4- M030 - Sport ROW ride height - 30 mm lower all-around
5- M002 - Carrera RS ride height - 50 mm lower all-around"

Fronts 99334353100504

Rears 99333353102504

For some reason the fronts are twice the price of the rears!

I think the term ROW is used too liberally. Based on this M033 should just be called lowering springs, IMO.

I believe they are called ROW because they were available from the factory in the rest of the world. M029's and M033's were not an available for factory order in the US on a new car.

Koni FSDs with ROW M033 springs do not not lower the car all that much. Here is a set we installed before/after...
It is very compliant ride. A bit soft for my personal taste, but definitely not harsh, or very low.

Pretty car!
It did settle a bit lower than that over time tho.
