Default WTB: ROW 029 springs

Time to put on new shocks and lower the car. After a lot of thought,
and spending days reading suspension threads, I'm thinking that
lowering the car to original ROW height (about 3/4" in front and 1/2" in the rear) would improve the looks and handling, and eliminate my worries about scraping. This would return the car to the original Porsche height, and keep compatibility with the existing sway bars. Springs will be paired with new Koni FSD shocks.

Part numbers would be 993.343.531.00 front, and either 993.333.531.02 or 993.333.531.03 rear.

Thanks,

Gary

I've heard of M030 and M033 springs but not 029 (or is it M029?) What's the difference between these and the other two?

Here's one summary from a Rennlister:

For the 993, there were four [4] different ride heights. Taking the US
height as a reference, here's how they were:

1- M032 - USA/Canada ride height (this includes USA M030 Sport option)
2- M029 - Standard ROW ride height - 20 mm lower front/10 mm lower rear
3- M033 - Lowered ROW ride height - 30 mm lower all-around *
4- M030 - Sport ROW ride height - 30 mm lower all-around
5- M002 - Carrera RS ride height - 50 mm lower all-around

And another post from Bill Verberg from Pelican

Std RoW springs are;
front coded red 993.343.531.00 x2
rear coded violet 993.333.531.02 x2 or grey 993.333.531.03 x2

RoW M030 are;
front coded orange & green 993.343.531.01 x2
rear coded brown 993.333.531.11 x2

RoW M033(lowe/comfort) & tt are;
coded blue 993.343.531.04 x2
rear coded white 993.333.531.21 x2 or lilac 993.333.531.22 x2

Thanks. So the difference between M029's and M03X's is about .4 inch front and .8 inch rear.

I have a brand new set of MO33 springs that I am not going to use. I ended up going with H&Rs. PM me if interested.
