Are the high beam lights an H1? I'd like to order some bulbs for the high beams to somewhat match the low beam and fog lights that are in the T-Light kit I ordered. Also, does anyone know what type of bulb to use in the clear Euro turn signals? I read about some silver colored ones that blink amber?!

I was under the impression that the foglights were H3's like these one.

Does anyone have a link for a blue/white high beam bulb to match the HID's as best as possible?

Thks

You are right, I was wrong in my previous post. Fogs are H3, high and low beam are H1.
And thanks for the feedback guys! I really appreciate this.
Cheers,
Tore

Tore, is there a brand of light you would recommend to match the HID low beam and fog lights of your kit? I have some Phillips extreme bulbs in my Tacoma, and they are excellent, and have been going strong for years. I've found some of the other brands last a year or so, and then crap the bed.

Sadly, I have no recommendations. I've tried Silverstars, maxiwhite, xenonbluemaximathingy, you name it. In my opinion, they are all quite yellow compared to HID's.
wolfk's recommendation above seems good, how about giving it a go?
Cheers,
Tore

Yes the sylvania ZXE match the whiteness and are a good compliment to the T-lights. Picked up a pair of H1 and H3 at Advance Auto for $50 a pair. H1 high beams, H3 for the fogs.

Pardon my ignorance, but I thought that the HID kit removes High/low beam from the headlights?

It replaces the low beam and Tores kit also comes with LED bulb replacements for the parking lights.

I think I'm going to try the Philips X-treme Vision bulbs, which are the step up from what I have in my truck (X-Treme). They have been great lights, and no issues with 3 years of use. I'll report back on how they match up. I don't expect them to be exact, but as long as they are whiter than the stock bulbs I'll be happy.

Does the blue color of the the Sylvania ZXE H1 bulbs make the reflector in the headlights appear blue in the daytime when the headlights are not on? I have a yellow H4 bulb in the headlight of my BMW motorcycle and it makes the light look yellow when you look through the glass. I just bought the the Sylvania ZXE H3 bulbs for my fog lights as a compliment to my yet-to-be-installed T-Light kit, but have been one the fence about the 993 H1 high beams.

Thanks,

Todd

I was out last night with my wife for a special dinner and the headlights are amazing. They need to be adjusted a bit which I will do as soon as I figure out what tool is needed but otherwise they are absolutely amazing. Stunning kit.

Yes, the reflector does take on a blue tinge. However, you have to get your eyeballs down to just the right height and angle to pick up the blue reflection. At all normal viewing angles, the reflectors appear normal.
