OT ~ Our Friend Bruce Anderson just passed away....
May he rest in peace.
It has been a long 16 months for Bruce and Stephanie. He was getting better too. I've never heard of someone bouncing back as many time as he did. Seems like he was in ICU more than he wasn't. He finally started making good strides and he had a really good day yesterday and then last night, he was gone and they couldn't revive him.
Robert and I are both so very sad.... Regardless of what you think about his 993 Valuations, he was a really really good guy and meant so much to the Porsche community as a whole.
We are going to miss him.

I take it this is the same Bruce Anderson who put out the Porsche 911 Performance Handbook that I bought?
What is important to remember about anyone who passes away is if their life was filled with "passion" and if they did what they loved doing.

Bruce Anderson R.I.P. and may God Bless. Fond memories !
While a customer, had the pleasure of introduction with Bruce at his Mountain View, CA shop in the eighties.
He encouraged many of us to order/buy 993s ,,,, "before the air cooled / chassis cars are no more".
Fond memories! Bruce was a good egg.

It was Bruce's writing that got me re-interested in Porsches way back in 1987. He was generous with his vast knowledge and did much to promote the marque. He wasn't afraid to criticize, think 2.7. He will be missed. May he be remembered long and well.

Thank you Bruce for every word you wrote. Long before I could afford a Porsche I read your words and the enthusiam seeped in and made biding my time bearable. You were a generous gentleman in a world full of boys, I least amongst them. May you rest in peace.
