My...sort of...new to me 993
Hi all,
Well I have been on here as a user for a few months now and today finally got round to paying up the membership to join (big bucks I know). Its a rainy quiet Saturday afternoon with not much to do here in Sydney.
Bought my new toy back in July as a toy for the weekend only after my wife of all people said lets go for it. I have been a fan of Porsche since Adam was a boy and just can't believe I have this amazing machine sitting in my garage.
It is is fantastic condition for a 1995. I have been researching for years and could not be happier with what we have purchased. Had it fully checked out before buying and other than a few minor cosmetic matters, which I can fix up, she works a treat.
My kids have named her "Mrs Kensington" from austin Powers, as I keep on saying ohhh baby when I stand there and look at it in the garage....nothing weird going on i must mention.
So far I have been thankful for the help on a few matters i have posted and hope to be of some use to others in the same way
Now will attempt to upload a couple of photos.....

Wonderful color combination - very nice car. How many km's?
I lot of use do not bother uploading pictures anymore - we use some of the picture hosting sits like Picasa, and just enter the pictures via the reference address for the picture in the form of a URL. On most sites, you can set the size of the picture you want to be seen, so you do not get the very large pictures that people find really hard to see.
Best of luck!
Cheers,
Mike

Thanks Mike...i'll give the 3rd party photo sites a go.
Colour is Adventura Green (but can look blue depending on the light) and black. 106,000km's or about 65,000 miles.
Cheers

Based on the photos, I would be surprised if it were Aventurine Green. Can you look under the hood and post the color code? It looks to be Blue turquoise metallic, (paint code L25D)

Hey nine9six. I will check the code, never really bothered to as all the paperwork I have on the car states AG. Will have to wait another week or so as car is away in storage while I get a new garage ( or more commonly known as man cave). Will get back to you.

Wow, lovely! But then again, I am partial to the greeny-blues and bluey-greens
My vote is also on turquoise metallic rather than aventurine green.
She looks a treat - did you have a PPI done prior to purchasing?
