Not mine but I was impressed with any 993 with 236k miles on it: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/3506353253.html
It might even be an RL'er car, lots of nice upgrades. It will be really interesting to see what a high mileage one like this would sell for...

Impressive mileage, yes, but seems priced for significant negotiations, IMHO, especially for a repainted, aventurine green car with a gray interior that has no signs of clutch or top end work. Despite the mods.

No kidding. Those seats appear like they show no wear. Mine are in worse shape and I have nowhere near that mileage. They must have been recovered or I'm not taking care of mine as well as I thought I was.

I think it's much closer to $16-17K than $20K. If I were the seller I'd sell Volks separately and whatever else can be quickly taken off the car and then offered it for $17K.
BTW, it seems that steering wheel does not match the interior color. Which is odd.

It looks like a nice sorted out car. It also looks to be in good condition.
If the right person comes along, I think he can get very close to his asking price. However, the miles on my C4 have been it's biggest downfall, and making it tougher to sell, but to the right person it will all work out.

No sign of engine work at that mileage -> great for the current owner to dump it but whomever buys it is buying a potential cash sink. I agree, this car is a $17K car or less. On a rebuild at that miles, it would be worth splitting the case, likely layshaft bearings and #8 would be quite worn. If I DIY, I would still be in the hole $6K - $8K for that, and that is with a lot of free labour. Likely a lot of highway miles at that mileage though.
Other wear items (transmission, CV's, ball-joints, wheel bearings, calipers, suspension swivel points, door hinges, window risers, windshield wipers, A/C system) all would have lots of wear.
Cheers,
Mike

gee I don't think its too bad, I have 178K on my 98 C2s , with no top end, on my second clutch. bought it new.. and keep to the recommended maintenance.. I just hope I can get at much mileage before my first rebuild.
