Sorry your 993 had to find that rare tiny patch of California black ice and then decided to mingle with a tree.... BUT the main thing, as many have already said, is that you are ok.....

Its great that you can keep your sense of humor with your entertaining while sad post. Are you sure its a total loss? A front clip, bumper, hood, and a few odds and ends, and you may be ok. I hope this works out in a positive way for you. And if I can add one, single word of advice it would be "TURBO". Just sayin'.

Happy to see you came thru uninjured. It is just a car *cough*. Crash-Survivability is the #2 reason I own a 993, and your experience confirms the wisdom of that choice.
