I'm contemplating a 993 thats located in Burbank California. I'm in Portland Oregon so too far to drop by, unfortunately. If anyone out there could do this I'd be very grateful! I'd do the PPI after someone eyeballs it for me as I'd like to determine its overall condition etc. I'll be checking my PMs. Also, if anyone is looking at a P car in Portland I'd be happy to do the same! Thank you!

you need to talk to the fine folks at Werks II in Burbank California. Galen knows porsches and so does his wrench, Timo.
Call ahead and speak with Jackie. Have the car dropped off to them and pay them for a full inspection. They know what to look for.
If you decide to buy the car, keep it at the shop ready for transport. I would recommend you have the shop service it at that time and fix anything that it may require prior to transport. That way it is done by the best and ready to roll right off the carrier when you receive it.

They did my first RS for me. I was in Canada and they handled every thing for me without ever meeting me! Trustworthy and responsible. I bought the car sight unseen and they held onto it and did all the mods for me.
Galen raced 914s, 911s, 993,996 and 997 Cup cars. He has a collection of new and used tubs to prove it.
Timo is all the way from Germany and can build a 997 bare Cup tub out of the crate into a full car in about 16 hours start to finish.
Im a big fan.

I just learned that the car I was going to buy had its top end done at a shop called Motor Meister, a shop with about as bad a rep as I'd ever heard of and so am going to pass. Thank you for the amazing response of offers, much obliged!!!
