Project Acid '98 C2S-Fuchs 17's
Project completion is near so figured it was time to post....this is the car we will install 17" Fuchs in RSR finish (Zuff/Weidman/Singer). ETA is X-Mas...wanted a resto mod kind of flavor so went with a look similar to the green Porsche has used for the 918 and also recent Panamera GT prototype...carried the accents from the calipers to the strut tower brace, tach and "S" badge. Will likely put "Carrera" in same color on rockers this spring. Mods include fabspeed de-cat, new Bilstein's, ECU tweak...shoes will be Michelin Pilot Sports...apologies for lack of more photos...trying to sort out upload from iPad....will post more when I get help from my daughter. Cheers !

Twin Screw-- IIRC, this is the first photo of your ride you've posted anywhere, & you're new-ish to RL:
Clean machine! What's the graphic on your windshield?
What size are your current wheels?
I've eagerly read your enthusiastic posts throughout the forum - like the "For futuristic FUCHS fans" thread - I know you've put a lot of thought & effort into your C2S, & I can't wait to see the result.
Gotta LUV family projects ^^
Aarrow-- From OP's thread title & below: Acid green
TS-- I think you'll be the first RLer on the 993 Forum with 17" Zuffenhaus wheels.
Their 17" 'Fuchs' were well-received on the 964 board, & I bet yours in the reflective RSR finish will be even more special.
From Craig Lutz' "Fuchs Pics on 964" thread:
Thought some might be interested in seeing how they look. I know it's not everyone's taste but just something new to look at. Thanks.
They are 17" and came from Jeff Alton and Keith at Zuffenhaus Products. Very nice people to work with and they have spent a lot of hard work producing these. I am very happy with them as I have always loved the fuch's look and was waiting for someone to make them for the 964. Thanks again.

So....the car is being stored at Porsche Beachwood (Ohio) until the wheels come in so the tag on the windshield is just a stock number. Current wheels are the stock variety and I would never go "Acid" and leave the stock wheels...we will conceal some of that color but a little will peek through as an accent...RSR finish will provide some contrast and definition as apposed to the all black like the 964 example...

Lovely car. My only concern is that 17's will be a little small in a WB 993. 18's tend to fill the arches nicely and even 19" Rufs look good. 17's sometimes look a bit small. Be very interested to see the results. Any acid green on the interior?

Re:17's and wheel well, I used the Singer as a reference point and Keith at Zuffenhaus gave us a shell to mock-up so we could try and visualize...no question we are anxious to see the look....my hope is the dish/outer barrel and a meaty PS2 do the trick...

I think it looks awesome. I love it when people think outside the box (although even using that hackneyed phrase is oxymoronic at this point). I'm really looking forward to seeing the Fuchs on there.

Thanks Zilla... I have an 800hp Switzer P800 GT-R and this is my fourth 911 so I figured this one would be a little different...the two in the same garage will be like a G-Shock Casio Watch and a Rolex next to each other!!!
