The first car I bought when I was 18 (with dad cosigning) was a genuine '70 Chevelle SS. Had fresh paint, red with 2 white stripes and cowl induction hood. Had it for 3 months and it was stolen at Six Flags. Really would still like it now.

This show was at John Force's shop, so a heavy funny car influence was present

Chris-- LUV your taste in American metal ^^
Philip-- Ditto ^^ ... glad you saw the admiring pics I snuck in of your old T-bird![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Ted--
Stan-- I am continually in awe.
I remember Chuck S. first telling me the story about your Mustang sale to T. Cruise for S. Spielberg.
If you have to let a beloved hot rod go, that's the way to do it!
Bruce-- Check post 55 &/or 56 on page 4 if you haven't seen them yet.
Ryan-- Glad to help^^ Great excuse to post pics of an amazing outlaw, while (hopefully) helping a friend's request.
JoAnne-- Hey, friend, was that about what you had in mind for the Bad Max cross-post show?

Certainly a fan of the 69 Mustangs and Camaros and if there is one to lust after these days it is this one.

+1 and to what someone already mentioned, car guy is a car guy.
To limit yourself only to sportscars is, well, limiting...
There are plenty of cool cars to drive around in many various different styles & categories.
That said, here's my daily driver...

What are your opinions on efforts & goals of companies like RetroBuilt.com?

These cars are American history, and when you're bringing one back to life, that's awesome.
Right now we're in the middle of building a 1969 Mustang ... uh, kind of!
What makes our car cool: We made the 2011 guages fit in there.
It will handle way better than it did in 1969.
