Thanks guys. I have "RV parking" on the side, so extending could be an option, if I want to negotiate the approvals...

Well, the garage is "unpacked" and set up. I need to detail things like cords and wires, and still hang/wire the speakers, as well as build a custom bench for the drill press and grinder. But, I was able to shrink to the 2 car garage without a lot of pain!

Pretty amazing to have this all done in a week, while also taking care of setting up the house and work this past week. I'm freaking tired.

Looking good.

It seams that you don't have the ceiling height to get a lift. Rule of thumb is the height of both cars + 8".

I have similar cabinets and tool chest. I made the upper tool chest on an 80/20 frame so that I could roll out the lower unit for working on the car or loading it in my race hauler.

Looks like its all in!

When you need more height, you can always replace that door with a roll up one, and reframe the rafters.

Cheers,

Mike

Looking good Ed, were you able to move the washer/dryer inside some where?

No, we ordered a new set in charcoal gray finish-supposed to be in this week. Didn't want white appliances ruining the look!

Ed-- Congrats on having the bulk of the work behind you; your very busy week's paid off!

The following space-saving option won't work for you

3 Porsches in a 2 car garage...no problem

<--------------

Plus 1200 toy Porsches on a side wall....and my alarm guy wondered why I wanted the garage fully alarmed.

Under the workbench-I stick my magnetic track numbers (63) on the door. But, I guess there is an advantage to living in colder climes, as evidenced by your pic!
