Too loud for me. Your neighbors are going to love you.

Sounds like a 93 civic with cans.

Go for Stage III, you won't regret it.

I'll be interested to hear what you think about Stage III on a 993 vs. various 997 GT3 exhaust options.

I took a video earlier today, just a low speed pulling into the shop. Ill try for a better one later and will upload them then. In the meantime....

Idling, stopped, in the car w windows up 65-70db
At speed (70mph, 6th gear) on highway, windows up 75-80 db. unless you hit the gas in which case you can hit 90db.

6th gear on highway. Windows up, cruising at speed. My sound meter is kind of cheap, but it gives you an idea. Stock was something like 65db.

Yes, they are definitely loud! The car seems to dampen by about 20db. I did a run this afternoon and ran it wot to 6,000rpms in second gear.

When I purchased my car, it had IIIs with high flow cats. I don't know if they are 100 or 200 cell. The sound was WAY over the top for me. I've settled on RSRs. It's still loud, especially when cold. I tried stock cans but ended up going for something more aggressive. Bottom line is, high flow cats make a huge difference in volume.

Thanks for the videos. Sounds great from the outside. Do you know what these cats weigh compared to stock?

At 6,000 rpms it maxed at 89.7db. In the car. I feel bad for anyone outside the car!
