Default Spoiler wall

I'm in need of a replacement spoiler wall. Before I buy one, I thought someone here may have one in good shape they might want to sell. TIA.

I would contact Sunset Porsche. Just make sure that you do not get one from the batch that did not fit well. They know the issue and it appeared to be resolved a couple of months ago.

Don't buy a used one it will fail again, this is not a part that should be installed in a used condition. Call Sunset Porsche for a new part....

+1...That's one of those "wear-and-tear" items that should be replaced new.

I have changed mine twice now, even the new ones fail in 4-5 years.
Here's a DIY page for the job.
Cheers,
Tore

Thanks for the suggestions and the link to how replace this. I've never used Suncoast Porsche, but read about them many times here. Do they have a website or must I call? If someone could post or PM me their number, I would appreciate it. I've done a web search in the past and I've gotten some other website. I want to make sure I contact the correct one that is aware of the problem.

I have had my car a month now and have made a couple of orders. Upon direction from this forum I have found Suncoast very helpful and reasonable on prices.

Here is the link...

http://www.sunsetimports.com/parts/

The phone # is under their name, but here it is also... 503.641.8600 • 800.346.0182

When the receptionist answers, ask for Porsche Parts, she will connect you. Tell them that you understand there were some 'improperly sized' spoiler walls from a previous supplier and that you would like the 'newer' version, I think the good ones have a 6mm wide 'insert' as opposed to the bad batch which was 5mm.

You can search the threads for 'spoiler wall' and my posts describing my whole ordeal should come up, including the correct measurements.

I purchased mine from Sunset about a month ago so I can confirm that the sizing issue has been fixed. Mine fit like a glove, albeit a really really tight glove. haha

You can ask, but I doubt it...their prices are already the best out there, by far. Good service, prompt shipping, happy customer here.

There is Sunset (Oregon) and Suncoast (Florida). Different places. Both Porsche dealers and both highly recommended. jakfrost posted the Sunset contact info above. Here's the Suncoast Porsche parts website.

This thread prompted me to finally install the replacement wall I purchased over a year ago. I measured the gap Jakfrost had a problem with and it looked like 3mm, so I went with it. It was easier than I imagined. Just got done, and it took less than 15 minutes including a little cleaning "while I was in there".

Is this a great place or what?

I have a brand new one from Sunset Porsche in Beaverton Oregon that I haven't installed. I think it was around $86.00.
