I love how the 993's have appreciated!

Its too bad I plan on keeping mine otherwise the cash out would be great....LOL

I would assume most people who are looking for one want it to drive, not just look at it. As such, wouldn't they want the work they are going to do, already be done? Rennlist approved and supported mods:
RS LWF
H&R Coilovers
Front Protection Bar
HID Upgrade
etc?
I assigned a negative to mods-I preferred bone stock. Sure, some are nice, but I'm not sure the LWF is everyone's cup of tea, as one example.

But then you would have cash but no 993. This way you get to enjoy it and have the value just in case

KBB is not as accurate as many people think, esp when it comes to uncommon cars

Also depends on the real condition. Not the condition you think is perfect, but the condition a real inspector would deem as perfect.

And the only real way to tell as we all know, is to put it on the market and see what type of offers you get.

Wow, that's too bad. The stock stereo is atrocious aesthetically and to the ear.
I kept mine stock for 9 years.. But when the rear speaker finally blew, I redid the whole system to accommodate ipod, satellite, bt... and the sound is now amazing.

Made my driving enjoyment double.

Just keep the factory radio - it will plug back into the factory plug and can be re-installed....unless your installer was an idiot and cut the plug.

I have a 1996 993 4s with 35k miles. Black/tan. Totally Stock. But I am leaning towards an
Exhaust change. Little more depth. So I want to put on the FD Motorsports Stage II?

Will this hurt the car if I ever decide to sell?

KBB & AutoTrader.com are now affiliated. Their core customers are the branded dealership networks. Their pricing guide info is designed to minimize what a dealer needs to offer for a trade-in and maximize what the dealer can reasonably ask at Dealer Retail. They are not a honest broker for pricing. Most of their business focuses on cars that have less than 80K miles on them and so still eligible for a factory backed or third party warranty. The warranty is the key issue for the branded dealer as it allows the car sold to fill the pipeline in their service department. A car sold without a warranty results in little add on service sales so most branded dealers will just auction many of them off at wholesale.

Not at all-totally reversible. If you can find some used muffs to mod, you can keep the stock bits.
