Default 1997 C4S

What's the basic range for the C4S market (1997) for a top of market car? This would be a car with less than 25k miles, two owners, no mods and excellent condition. Seems like the market is 50-60k?

there are enough pricing threads on here lately that you should find your answer.

Your guess is about right

Sorry - I don't have much time. Working a last minute deal and I'm at work and can't spend time searching. Any help is appreciated.

If you assume there is no difference in price between a 1998 and 1997 model, you should be able to get a dealer to take it at the upper range you provided.

www.kbb.com

Kelley Blue Book

They seem to be about $10K under actual selling prices for the widebodies.

If it has no issues, mid 55ties +/- is a fair price. Cars with this history do not come often.

Are mods bringing down the price of 993's? (not to say they would add any value)

I would assume most people who are looking for one want it to drive, not just look at it. As such, wouldn't they want the work they are going to do, already be done? Rennlist approved and supported mods:
RS LWF
H&R Coilovers
Front Protection Bar
HID Upgrade
etc?

I would say yes for a very low mile car that is not going to be driven. The prospective owner would want it completely stock.

Closest to stock is the best bet along with all original parts either on the car or in boxes.
Aftermarket stereos hurt resale as do the wires that some people install for amps etc..
