After seeing this I just ordered a set of 19"RUF. R9330036035.
What tyres do you recomend? Can you find the new Michelin MPSS in right dimension or what are you using?

Chrome RUF 19's
On my RUF R-Kompressor 997.1 C2S, I have a set of genuine RUF wheels and the previous owner had them chromed - haven't seen another set like them.

Please PM me if you are selling the 18" Rufs. I would be interested. I'm in Stockholm.

I would follow the RUF recommended sizes as a starting point:
F: 245/35/19
R: 285/30/19
The below make help too!

If budget is not an issue, def get MPSS, you can't go wrong and honestly I think they are priced well for the performance and of course quality. Better than PS2s too.

Out of curiosity, what tires are the rest of you running on yours? Just offloaded my solid spokes and want to pick up a set of tires for my RUFs...

Any input re: tire selection on these 19" RUFs would be appreciated!
FYI, Tirerack.com's "top 4" are as follows (price in parentheses):
1 - Continental ExtremeContact DWS ($958)
2 - Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position ($1,076)
3 - Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position ($1,076)
4 - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ($1,314)
Does anybody have anything to say - positive or negative - about these? How about pricing?

I am cheap, these cars go through tires, so I am using Sumi III's. Others have found cheaper tires that work well tool.
There seem to be two camps. One is the guys with full wallets who pay a lot of money for their tires, the others watch their wallets and look for the sweet spot of cost vs. wear vs. handling.
There are a few cheaper brands that do a good job against the high end tires and save you lots of bucks. Those are the ones that I stick to.
Cheers,
Mike
