Don't forget the "rake" is set by a good corner balance - it's not a "look" parameter nor even formally specified by Porsche. Ray's car looks nice and slammed, but I bet it will fail a suspension height measurement and likely a corner balance - with Porsche's specification being the left to right wheel difference should be as small as possible on the front and rear axles (less than 40 lbs) whenever possible. Porsche also specifies that the maximum admissible front-to-rear deviation of 10mm from the specified heights - those are those measured from the ground to the measurement points on the suspension. Once those are set, that will set the "rake" of the body - and usually the car does not look totally level, i.e. the nose visually looks a bit higher than the tail especially since the front wheel well gap is likley to be larger than the front. If you lower the front end to visually close the gap in the front wheel wells, you will throw off the suspension height measurements.

Cheers,

Mike

Dude, the care looks amazing! But I do think the front is a little too low. I'd bump it up a bit to even things out.. I'm loving the Rufs.

Front looks a little low but I defer to the techs here on reasons to leave it or change it....

Car is looking really good. When I first put in the new suspension the front was nice and raked also. I really liked that look.
After my alignment guy had finished it was back to a more traditional rake.

IMO def too much rake.
The wheels look great though. See many 993 in Dubai?

Thanks and no...they are hardly found as Porsche didn't sell many 993's in the 90's over here. Guys command high prices here for good 993's. I could easily make $10k on mine but I have no interest...

Thanks to Opo here's a better pic!

↑↑ Wow -- making a great thing even better! ↑↑

Opo (Rudy)-- What's the process?

OT, but can you post before and after photo-editing treatments of your new RB cab?

It is beautiful -- that's how Rudy likes his 911s, & how Mike sells them
It's Opo's.
Whose it was? ...Paging Arena993 to the RB phone on aisle 993.

Cam mentioned Opo's name, then I saw something shiny, then

SQUIRREL!

What we were talking about?

Anyway, please forgive the OT. Back to Cam's rockin' new setup!
