Very nicely done....and one question:

The rear bumper against the side panels shows (to my eye) a difference in color, in several shots. Is there film on the rear bumper that's not on the side panels?

I have photos of 4, including the RLer's ride shared here on previous page.
Rough guess: ~10 GR in the world.

I daydream of starting a thread with the special-order / paint-to-sample 997 Speedsters I've seen, and finding what other colors RLers know about.
Anyone interested?

Great shot. Looks like fun. I'm looking at a white GTS cab. How do you like having a white car?

All cars are equally difficult or easy to keep clean. Silly!

Curve lover,
I'm in bud
I found this one, this has to be velvet red if I'm not mistaken, it looks just like my 964..

Wow! I will like to see the interior of the guards red, can you get us some pictures
DAN , btw the comment that I copied about wanting to find out more pictures of special order / paint to sample came from CURVE LOVER, I'm still learning how to paste and copy here

Is your 997 turquoise blue?

Also my wife and I are thinking about turning my 993 riviera blue cab into a speedster we will see how that goes

Dan-- Always fun talking Speedsters, 993s, blues, Fuch wheels, etc., with you!

IIRC, your RLer friend didn't make it to Monterey Car Week with his new Speedster.
Did he take it to Rennsport Reunion?

(FWIW, the GR 997 Speedster on the previous page is a RLer's, but he's much further north of where you told me your friend lives.)

Rudy-- Glad to hear it! Someday, hopefully soon.

I think he took it to the reunion. The interior is different than most of the 997 Speedsters. He deleted the checkerboard look.

Yes--Blue Turquoise. I'm sure Porsche AG emulated it as close as they could for the Speedster! lol

Dan-- The interior was the only part he asked me not to photograph ... for one especially desirable feature that was even more readily identifiable than checkerboard-delete.
I need to shoot you a PM with more specifics -- starting to sound like the same RLer, as long as de-checkered seats were black.
We met up at The Quail's Motorsports Reunion, then Monterey Historics, then Laguna Seca again for the Rennsport Reunion -- all in his GR 997 Speedster

Really enjoyed meeting him and his wife.

Cell phone shots, driving out together:

Following needs caption - check the look
