It was great to meet you and the missus, Ian. So glad you're enjoying the car. Wondering whether the piece of blue tape in the driver's foot well will ever be removed. Saw that and had to laugh because I'd never gotten around to pulling it out.

Thank you for keeping the car so clean and making this an easy transaction. I'll now go hunting for the blue tape.
I spent last night reading the service manual and finally have an understanding of how the HVAC system works. I had to grab the manual to find the sunroof switch too. I think I've got most of the basic operations under control now. The car drives amazingly, especially for its age.

Sunroof switch is above and to the left of the ignition slot. You can see it in the bottom photo you posted. The one on the right switches to allow you to adjust right and left mirrors.
