An unfortunate incident

If you asked members here how long it took for their complete paint jobs, you would think six months was quick.
I waited one year and it was worth the wait. I received free indoor storage for a year
Unless a completion date was agreed upon, there should not be any price reduction in my opinion.
Need pics.........

Stopped by the body shop on Wednesday to inspect the car, found a couple of items for follow up but overall looking very nice and this is before I bring it to Rick Nelson for a final detail. See below for some pics!
Final bill was $13.5K. Attempted to negotiate due to the length of time but was told no can do as the shop was already taking a $3K hit on the job. Think this is probably why shops don't like doing full resprays anymore. Next it is headed in finally for installation of the Clewett serpentine belt system, stainless steel brake lines, custom Andreas fan (bling!) and some additional maintenance items.
The thing that is starting to worry me now is that the car hasn't been started in over a year. I put it away last November with the broken belt and towed it to the shop in mid May to be fixed. Figure it will all be OK as the mechanic knows how to handle a non-running Porsche considering he got Christian's barn car back on the road!
