Default Official intro and thanks.

Joined the Rennlist madness about 9 months ago but was Porschless at the time.
After quite a hunt and a bit of frustration I finally found a 993 that met the criteria as best as possible. We don't have a great selection here in Australia and the 993s that are for sale demand top dollar compared to other parts of the world.

She's a 95 C4 manual, GP White over Black and very stock.
113kms and very clean for the age.
Needed to perform a little maintenance to get her running right and still have a few optional "maintenance" procedures to do.

I'm now beginning to understand the true meaning of "The slippery slope". There's necessary work and there's the stuff that we would really like to do!

Have already replaced the steering rack, front droplinks, front rotors/pads, new tyres, new spoiler curtain and a few other little odd jobs! All necessary of course!

Darin at FD convinced me that I should really have PSS10s instead of HDs and while I'm there throw in a set of Chris's bushings. They should be here any day! All necessary of course!

Oh! And the Stage III's that are on order with FD.....Of course they were necessary!

Come to think of it, the clutch is probably due, which would mean RS upgrade, which would mean a new chip................All necessary of course!

I'm sure I'll find a way to justify the long list of necessary modifications still to come.

So to all of you who have influenced my journey by contributing to this forum and shaping it into what it has become today, thank you.
Darin at FD.......thanks for making it so easy to hand over the dollars. I'm like a kid waiting for Santa to arrive.

Most importantly I'd like to thank a fellow Rennlister, Neil, who I'd never met and offered to assess the car for me interstate. He had a look at it, drove it and we had a number of conversations about it. I organised a PPI and bought it sight unseen.
Flew to Sydney with my son and did the road trip back! Haven't had a single regret.

Oh.........a couple of obligatory pics!

G'day mate! haha...had to!

Congrats on the purchase and stop talking to Darin! Kidding...I think he's got everyone's wallet at the moment. My stage III's arrived yesterday.

Enjoy the slippery slope.

Welcome and yes the slope does get addicting!

I know cars in AU are priced very high so I'm sure the 993s must commanding premium $.

Beautiful clean lines with white, enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't recall how I found this place but it's refreshing to this sort of camaraderie and support.

It's incredible how many great comments I get about the GP White. This colour was really toward the bottom of my list. After a month
of living with it, I don't think I would have it any other way.
