I am in the process of selling my 993 to myself...well, actually from my company to me personally. I was looking for a valuation web site that listed a LOW value and I found one...EDMUNDS...
Crazy the difference between KBB and Edmunds.
Kbb = a pretty decent $39,900 in good condition...$41K in excellent.
Edmunds = Trade in $7,428 and Dealer Retail $13,429
This is for a '96 C4S with 75K miles...

Good to see someone here benefit from such bizarre, unrealistic evaluations. Numbers like that can't possibly be based on actual sale data.
Take care that no one runs into you and totals your car though - I'm no expert, but if your insurance company sees the sale figures, you may be compensated at that level...
